Setting Up Suppliers

Before the initial login to the Trade Portal, it is required that suppliers are properly set up in the BuilderMT Workflow Management Suite's Setup menu, which is established by the builder company.

  1. In the WMS Setup menu select Suppliers.

  2. Select the supplier from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click the Contact 1 tab, then enter the supplier contact name in the Contact 1 field.

  4. Mark the appropriate checkbox(es) to assign rights to the supplier:

  5. Purchasing Contact

  6. Scheduling Contact

  1. Enter the supplier’s E-mail address in the Contact 1 E-mail Address field.

  2. If desired, complete the additional fields, then click Save.

Important Note

Before exiting this window, make a note of the Supplier ID # and E-mail Address. This information is needed when the supplier logs into the Trade Portal.

 

  1. To verify the correct E-mail Server settings in WMS:

  1. From the WMS main window, click Setup > Company.

  2. Click on E-mail Options. By default the E-mail Server is set to localhost.

  3. In the E-mail Server field, enter your company’s E-mail server name. (Your company’s IT Manager can provide this information)

  4. Click Save.
